Awards season

I was in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago for a short but sweet business trip. I find the city to be so up-to-the-minute and stylish, design-wise, and I always leave feeling inspired – this trip was no exception.  I visited some of my favourite showrooms, including Behruz Rugs and Tigger Hall, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at The Stables in Como House.

While I was there, I also attended the launch House and Garden’s Top 50 Rooms, which is the magazine’s carefully curated selection of the best in Australian interiors over the past year. I was honoured to be nominated for Best Use of Indoor/Outdoor Space for A French Affair.

As always, the room was filled with talented designers and many stunning projects on display. It is one of my favourite events on the interior design calendar.

Here are some photos of my work in the magazine. I hope you enjoy the finished product as much as I did creating it.
