Friday Favourites

I spend a lot of my time browsing the internet in search of design and lifestyle inspiration. There are so many beautiful images and homes that I find and fall in love with along the way, so I decided to gather some of my favourites to share with you each month.

Seeing as we are at the very start of spring, I thought I would round up some gorgeous alfresco areas that feature plenty of greenery and outdoor furniture that are all so entrancing, it doesn’t take me long to visualise myself and my family enjoying them.

The grape vines that wrap around this outdoor dining area is framing the space beautifully. I also love the vibrant indigo blue paired back with the fresh white and timber chairs. A perfect setting for a sunset meal with friends and family.

A timeless, easy space to entertain in- shaded perfectly, and with these comfortable chairs a weekend bbq with friends is easily done here.

This comfortable seating area is perfect for gathering friends for afternoon drinks in the garden. Comfortable, chic and functional in design, the accent tables can easily be moved around to suit the purpose of the area at the time. To change the look, new throw cushions can be a simple yet effective update that will freshen the space.

This area looks like it is set for a special event- there is nothing I love more than a beautifully styled garden party! So chic and pretty, it will only get more beautiful as the sun sets and the candles are lit.

This English countryside home features lovely gardens and this alfresco dining area, which looks like a great casual space to gather. I really like the pavers and hurricane candle vases.

Clean lines around the pool and furniture make this poolside seating area contemporary, yet it is softened by the use of landscaping. I love how the vines have grown up and across the pergola- just fabulous.

This stunning gazebo is overlooking Lake Como in Italy, from the luxury hotel Villa D’este.
