I’ve always loved working with heritage homes. For me, it’s about preserving history while creating something truly timeless. I feel a deep sense of responsibility to honour their original beauty, retaining the bones and intricate details that make them special.
There’s also a sustainable element to this work, which I really value. By keeping these homes intact, we’re not only adding modern functionality but also maintaining the character of the suburbs and streetscapes they belong to. We are continuing the story that they tell.
There’s something about the aesthetics of heritage homes that captivates me, and I believe it’s my role as a designer to ensure that the integrity of their design is respected. Whether it’s a heritage-listed property or a home with heritage architecture, I love working with my clients to create interiors that reflect their lifestyle while celebrating the legacy of the space.
