“It’s the rich history of Paris that captivates me. I’m endlessly curious about how things began—who built them, designed them, and lived in them. Paris is an endless source of design inspiration, from the grand Haussmann architecture to the Louvre, the exquisite food and pastries, and the undeniable passion of the people who call it home.”

I was lucky enough to recently return from the incredible city of Paris, where I attended the renowned trade show, Déco Off. Held annually, Déco Off is a prestigious interior design event that brings together some of the world’s most respected brands in home décor, particularly in fabrics, trims, and wallpaper. The event showcases new collections from top design houses and manufacturers, offering a décor odyssey through Paris.

Over four days, showrooms open their doors to reveal a captivating array of textiles, wallpapers, and trims—a true visual feast. The showrooms are beautifully appointed, and the people are warm, friendly, and enthusiastic, creating an inviting atmosphere. Stepping inside from the chilly weather outside makes the experience even cosier and more intriguing.

As always, Paris was an inspiring experience, with the energy in the air electric. Beautiful sculptures, stunning furniture pieces, and both new and vintage collections filled the spaces. The sheer variety of fabrics, wallpapers, and trims was overwhelming. There was so much to see, touch, and experience!
