The brief was to completely decorate and furnish this 3 bedroom Sydney waterfront apartment in the prestige suburb of Woolloomooloo in a contemporary style. From custom-made rugs to Italian furniture, our client’s apartment is now presented as an elegant and highly sophisticated space, one that takes advantage of the breathtaking harbourside views.

We have worked with bronze and gold elements in our choice of hardware and furnishings and introduced some soft colours and tones to the palette with accents of black to provide a chic contrast. We worked with our clients to procure art pieces that they loved that blended effortlessly with the design, whilst incorporating treasured family pieces such as the ornate mirror in the hallway. This apartment has many personalised touches.

Very carefully curated, we selected furniture and artwork that would transform this apartment into an uncluttered, luxurious space. An unwanted, but necessary door to the utility room in the kitchen was carefully disguised using wallpaper, an idea that was very welcomed and solved a problem. We introduced a small corner table seating area, a space to be enjoyed by our clients by themselves, something they hadn’t previously considered. “My favourite thing about working with Marylou was that I completely trusted that I could hand things over and she would come up with the right piece. Additionally, she was very up-front about the way she works, costings etc. There were NO surprises.” – Client
